A MEISSEN SAUCER CIRCA 1725-30
painted in iron-red camaïeu with a mountainous landscape, within a Böttger lustre-ground border reserving arched panels of puce camaïeu scrollwork ornament at the rim, the reverse with three flowering branches, incised Dreher's mark /.

An identical saucer with its teabowl were purchased for the Arnhold Collection from Salomon, Dresden in May 1928 and is illustrated in Maureen Cassidy-Geiger, The Arnhold Collection of Meissen Porcelain 1710-50, New York, 2008, p. 743, fig. 15a. Another saucer was sold at Sotheby's London, September 13, 1999, lot 50.
