A signed copy of the limited-edition compilation of Jar of Flies and the Sap re-issue. Following the success of Jar of Flies—Alice in Chains’ second acoustic EP—Columbia Records released this limited edition, which included a re-issue of their first acoustic endeavor, Sap. The band hadn’t originally intended to release the songs on Jar of Flies, having gone to the studio to simply record with acoustic instruments in order to see what they might come up with. But the label loved the songs and encouraged them to release them as an EP. Jar of Flies debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming the first EP to top the charts.
