In 2016, this has a nose imbued with fresh herbs and sheer class - that wonderful Pauillac plateau terroir again, allied to biodynamic methods. Incredibly 'sweet' on the palate, with real power behind it, as shown in the persistence and length 'en bouche'. Provenance:

A stunning selection of top Bordeaux from both banks of the river, including cases of each of the First Growths as well as their iconic counterparts from Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, such as Petrus and Cheval Blanc. Those interested in Italian gems will find several cases of the delightful 1957 Barolo Riserva from Giacomo Borgogno & Figli, offered without reserve. Most of the wines are in their original cases, many still banded, and have been professionally warehoused since purchase.

-         to an address in London: £35 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover;

-         to a UK address outside of London (excluding Ireland and Scotland): £45 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover.

Sotheby’s cannot arrange or take responsibility for shipments to non-UK buyers, but will be pleased to introduce them to a forwarding agent.
