An Egyptian Deep Aubergine and Turquoise Faience Vase
Roman Period, circa 1st Century A.D.
with broad piriform body decorated with swirled ribs, concave neck, flaring mouth, and twin handles each with spiral tendrils simulating the lower attachments, the inside of the neck covered with a turquoise glaze.
