Heuer's Monza chronograph was first introduced in the late 1970s and was only offered for a very short period of time. Inside works a modified version of the caliber 12: the caliber 15 manual winding movement. It is easily identifiable by the running seconds register at 10 o'clock. The present watch is a great example of a Heuer Monza. The signs of wear to the PVD coating on a watch's case enhance its look.
Sotheby's is honored to offer the collection of a former race car driver (in total 28 watches) with proceeds benefiting an initiative to support children of refugees in Germany.
