This one hundred and two year old poster is exceptionally rare, and has only surfaced a few times.
This early American short silent film was written by, directed by and stars Charlie Chaplin. In it Charlie works crazy hours at a hotel in rural Sunnyside, where he also helps on the farm. He eats on the run, grabbing his coffee and milking a cow into it, hovering a chicken over a frying pan to get fried eggs! Charlie falls in love with the neighbour's daughter (played by Edna Purviance), but her father doesn't approve of him. Edna is courted by a city slicker who has been hurt in a car accident and arrives at the hotel. When Charlie is shunned by Edna he tries to imitate the city slicker to get her attention, donning spats and a walking cane. This all ends rather ambiguously, as it is unclear if the final scene of Charlie kissing Edna is in fact real or a dream.
