This film was directed by David Lynch, and stars Anthony Hopkins, John Hurt and Anne Bancroft. It tells the true story of John Merrick, who was born heavily disfigured, and how a surgeon tries to rescue him. The film won the big three at the Oscars - Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor for John Hurt. This poster was signed by John Hurt at the British Film Festival. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
