This thriller was written and directed by Neil Jordan. The cast includes Stephen Rea, Miranda Richardson, Jaye Davidson, Adrian Dunbar, Ralph Brown, and Forest Whitaker. The film tells the story of a member of the IRA, Fergus (Stephen Rea), who develops an unlikely friendship with Jody (Forest Whitaker), a kidnapped British soldier. Fergus is then drawn into the world of the soldier, which forces him to think about what he really wants, and what/or he feels that he should do.
