on short reel foot, the body formed of ten lobes with incised lines on the exterior, short double scroll handles, the raised center chased with raised scrolls, presumably formerly enameled, marked inside two lobes with the city mark for Bogotá
Length over handles 6 5/8 in. (16.9 cm)
Lost with the Spanish Treasure galleon Nuestra Señora de Atocha, sunk 5-6 October 1622 off the Florida Keys.
Recovered in 1985 by Mel Fisher and Treasure Salvors, Inc.
