Five vintage NASA “Red Number” chromogenic prints, 8 x 10 in., with a “A Kodak Paper” watermark on verso, NASA image IDs NASA S-65-29766, NASA S-65-30433, NASA S-65-30429, NASA S-86-29635, and NASA S-65-45631 printed in red to upper left margins. 


NASA S-65-29766, NASA S-65-30433, and NASA S-65-30429: All three photographs taken on June 3, 1965. Gemini 4 Pilot Edward White floats in zero gravity while conducting the first American spacewalk, shot by fellow GEMINI IV astronaut, Command Pilot James McDivitt. 


AN EXCELLENT SELECTION OF IMAGES FROM AMERICA'S FIRST SPACEWALK, including the three iconic photographs taken on June 3, 1965 of Gemini IV Pilot Edward White conducting the first American spacewalk, shot by fellow Gemini IV astronaut, Command Pilot James McDivitt as well as photos of Launch Complex 19 at Cape Kennedy, seconds after TITAN II launch vehicle ignition on June 3, 1965, at approximately 15:15:59 UTC; and an image of the California coast photographed from the Gemini IV capsule, extending from Los Angeles (at bottom) to San Diego (at top) with Catalina and San Clemente Islands visible in the Pacific Ocean, and the inland Salton Sea visible East of San Diego.
