AN EGYPTIAN BROWN SERPENTINE USHABTI OF NEDJEM-IB, LATE 12TH/13TH DYNASTY, CIRCA 1800-1640 B.C.


wearing a tripartite wig, his face with wide finely shaped mouth, strong cheekbones, and large wide-set eyes with contoured upper lids, the incised column of dedicatory inscription in front including the name of the owner, Nedjem-ib.

Height 27.8 cm.
