An Italian Silver Book Binding, Maker's Mark MB with Figure Holding Emblems Between, Probably for Marc'Antonio Belotto of Padau, 1766/88
both covers embossed with coats of arms in baroque cartouches under coronets on matted and trellis grounds, the hinges and clasp with corded borders, now fitted with a blank book with gilt edges, maker's mark only stamped twice on both covers, and once on each clasp
