This jacket was worn by Kevin Durant during Practice and Media Day for the 2017 NBA Finals. In the 2017 NBA Finals Kevin Durant won his first NBA Championship and first NBA Finals MVP award. 

A two-time NBA champion and the 2014 MVP, Kevin Durant has long been considered one of the top basketball players in the world. The Washington, D.C. native and University of Texas standout has enjoyed successful stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and Brooklyn Nets across 15 NBA seasons. 

Nicknamed ‘The Slim Reaper’, Durant is often considered one of the best pure scorers in the NBA thanks to his silky smooth jumper and uncanny ability to attack the rim. He has led the league in scoring on four occasions including a career-high 32 points per game during his MVP season. 

In his first season with the team which culminated in the 2017 NBA Finals, Durant led the Warriors to an NBA Championship following a dominant 67-15 regular season record. After dispatching LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games, Durant was named Finals MVP with averages of 35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. 

With Durant at the forefront, the 2016-17 Warriors are widely considered one of the greatest teams in NBA history. Their 16-1 playoff record is the highest playoff winning percentage ever recorded by an NBA team. 

After delivering back-to-back NBA championships in 2017 and 2018, Durant led the Warriors back to the NBA Finals in 2019. However, he suffered a torn achilles in Game 5 and the Warriors subsequently fell to the Raptors in six games. Durant decided to sign with the Brooklyn Nets in the summer and begin a new chapter of his career.
