Patek Philippe introduces highly exclusive and extraordinary creations in its annual Rare Handcrafts Collection. In 2015, the collection focuses on the art of, for example, enameling and haute joaillerie alongside the Baccarat Crystal Dome Table Clocks. This collection features 41 splendid pieces, including 20 dome table clocks of unique or limited editions. 

Taking inspiration from the chandeliers made by the finest crystal glassmaker in France, this dome table clock is the product of the partnership with Baccarat, another eminent artisan of exceptional skills like those of Patek Philippe. The master engraver, a recipient of the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France which recognizes the finest French craftsmen, spent over 40 hours to hand-engrave the beveled diamond-cut for the cylindrical body and rosettes for the spherical top and the dial centre. Replaced by the manual calibre 17’’’ PEND, this modern iteration allows the artists a bigger “canvas” to work his magic on the space that would otherwise have been a solar panel. 

Rendered in this gleaming and glistening Crystal Chandeliers 10006M is the meld of masterly contributions of the watchmaker, glassmaker and engraver from Patek Philippe and Baccarat. This limited edition with sumptuous decors is the product of over a hundred hours of concentrated work.
