The history of Moegi no Mura (Moegi Village), which began with the opening of the coffee shop ROCK in 1971 on the Kiyosato Plateau at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The place has culminated over the past half century in a tourist complex with a restaurant, hotel, brewery, cafe, carousel, music box museum, various craft stores, and workshops.

A whisky that represents the life of Joji Funaki , founder of Moegi no Mura. FIRST CLASS” is a phrase from a letter to Funaki from Dr. Paul Rush, the father of the Kiyosato pioneers, who wrote, “Do Your Best and It Must Be First Class.”. Suntory Hakushu Distillery has selected five different types of Whisky. to contribute to this special bottle, the oldest one has been aged for 45 years, the oldest Hakushu liquid the market has ever seen, and only 4 bottles were ever sold to the general public.
