Probably Nelson A. Rockefeller Collection, sold Sotheby's New York, 12 April 1980, lot 69

These vases appear to be identical to a pair formerly in the collection of Nelson A. Rockefeller (1908-1979) and sold at Sotheby's in 1980. The catalogue image shows each vase with a rock crystal and gilt bronze flame finial lid, though the rock crystal appears to be of distinctly different colour to the main bodies and these lids may have been associated.
