together with a string of coral beads worn by the sitter, length 14 3/8 in. (2 pieces)
the sitter reported to be the great-grandmother of prominent miniature on ivory collector, Edward Grosvenor Paine (1911-1994); set in a mourning locket with lock of braided hair verso.
