VERY FINE AND RARE CHIPPENDALE CARVED AND FIGURED MAHOGANY TILT-TOP TEA TABLE, SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS, CIRCA 1775


The top with molded edge, tilting above a slightly tapering ring-turned pedestal with spiral-turned urn, supported by leaf-carved cabriole legs with elongate ball-and-claw feet centering scalloping on the pedestal, base and upper leg; inscribed on the underside of the block J. Amory Haskell.
