József Csetényi (1875–1956) and his wife Erzsébet Csetényi, née Frisch (1890–1981), Budapest, certainly by 1935 and probably acquired in the 1920s;
Their daughter, Suzanne Csetényi, Brussels, 1948;
Thence by descent to the present owner, her granddaughter.
