The Comex Sea-Dweller reference 1665 was made between 1977 and 1981. This reference was a boldly printed Comex logo above the Sea-Dweller signature and the watches were given to working divers. Due to the frequent build up on helium within the case on long dives, the case has a gas escape valve at 9 o’clock. The dial is further signed with a depth rating of 2000 ft or 600m.
The present watch is consigned by an important collector and features sharp numbers between the lugs and a wonderfully preserved dial.
