Distilled in 1967, created in 2020, bottle #78 of 348 (this one of 322 bottles of the Down To Work limited edition with the digital replica label), excellent overall appearence and condition, in original wooden presentation case within original wooden transit case and yellow cardboard shipping packaging
The Annecdotes of Ages collection consists of 13 one-of-a-kind bottles of exceptional 1967 whisky, chosen for its classic yet distinctly colourful character and representative of the year that Sir Peter Blake’s collage style transcended the art world into pop culture
The original labelled bottle portraying 'Down To Work' has been laid down in The Macallan Archives, with 322 digital replicas of this label available as a limited edition. Containing the same rich 1967 spirit in the same European oak box, accompanied by a green leather book sharing 13 label artworks from Anecdotes of Ages Collection and a certificate of authenticity signed by Sarah Burgess

Caramelised peach
NOSE
Classic antique oak, dried fruit and fig combined with hints of pineapple and mango layered with a decadent chocolate strawberry note
PALATE
Warm chocolate with light nutmeg and ginger, oak spices and sweet oak opening into pineapple and coconut with an unexpected strawberry and hazelnut burst
FINISH
Complex with a medium to long finish of chocolate, sweet oak and lightly spiced peach

- to a UK address outside of London (excluding Ireland and Scotland): £45 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover.
