A RARE SILVER AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL SAMOVAR ON STAND, SHANKS AND BOLIN, MOSCOW, 1886
the bombé body repoussé, chased and applied with acanthus leaves, foliate branches and stylised scrolls, the sides enamelled in black silhouettes of children in a bed of reeds, raised on four lion paw feet, with ivory insulators, struck under base with maker’s mark, 88 standard
height to finial 42cm, 16½in.
