i) Talleyrand, letter signed, as Foreign Minister, to Marshal Berthier, Minister of War, seeking permission for an Englishman, Mr Bell, to remain in Paris as editor of the English Library, with a brief autograph note by Berthier in the margin, in French, 2 pages, folio, Paris, 28 January 1805
ii) Talleyrand, partially printed document signed ("Charles Maurice"), as Vice-Grand-Électeur, also signed by the Minister of the Interior, convening the departmental assembly of Dijon, 1 page, folio, 20 September 1812
iii) Jean Lannes, Marshal of France, letter signed, to Berthier, as Minister of War, requesting that Adjutant Commandant Bertier be confirmed as his Aide-de-Camp following his exemplary conduct at the Battle of Austerlitz, at which he led two battalions against a Russian column, 3 pages, folio, Paris, 18 March 1806
