Description
From the Collection of Princess Maria Immaculata of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Archduchess of Austria-Tuscany (1844–1899)
Natural pearl, ruby and diamond bracelet, Köchert, circa 1886
The clasp composed of a pear-shaped ruby within a border of circular-cut diamonds, on a row of round to roundish natural pearls measuring approximately from 6.60 to 6.25mm, length approximately 195mm, unsigned, inscribed 47, 24, 23, 20, 17, 15, 121/2, 8, 61/2 and 21/2, fitted case stamped Köchert.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 131221, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, the twenty-five pearls were found to be natural, saltwater.
