Description

Château Haut Brion

Pessac-Léognan (Graves), 1er Cru Classé

This extraordinary sale will be a rare chance to own a stunning and unique console table with built-in wine chest designed by Prince Robert of Luxembourg, President of Domaine Clarence Dillon, and by Linley of London, and containing a sumptuous selection of eight vintages of Bordeaux: 1935, 1949, 1959, 1961, 1975, 1989, 1990 and 2009. Examples of some of the finest wines ever produced at Château Haut-Brion, these bottles have been maturing in the cellars for up to 79 years. Linley's designs, inspired by centuries of stylish craftsmanship, express a tasteful elegance. Within the console's secret drawers, we can discover elegant silverware created and engraved by renowned Italian silversmith and jewelry designer, Buccellati, and a beautiful wooden case containing two Château Haut-Brion-design carafes and 12 finely engraved glasses. This superior console table and chest will add a distinctive touch to your home and be something your family can treasure for generations to come. Domaine Clarence Dillon is proud to donate this magnificent cabinet, one of a limited series of 15, to support the POLG Foundation.
