A set of twelve porcelain dessert plates with views of St Petersburg, Batenin Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, 1820-30s

each cavetto painted with a different view of St Petersburg contained in an octagonal cartouche with a gilt border, each plate with a gilded rim on the outer edge and border between the rim and cavetto containing gilded decoration of ciselé grapevines, the reverses all unmarked, the twelve views include:

3. The Egyptian Bridge

4. The bridge over the Griboedov Channel (now in front of the St Petersburg State University)

5. Kazan Cathedral

6. The Palace Square before the arch of the main barracks
