the upper section with balustrade-topped shelves centred by a rectangular mirror plate, the breakfront top with a marquetry border incorporating flowers and triglyphs, the lower section centred by two panel doors with a geometric arrangement of painted floral patterns, ebonised rosettes and gilt-scored ornament enclosing two shelves, flanked by two glazed doors enclosing two shelves topped with later purple velvet, the base with a baluster gallery, on bun feet
