CUSHNIE Midnight Blue Velvet Pantsuit, 2019

This deep blue velvet pantsuit is made in Italian sourced fabric, and features beaded floral motifs. It was the first look for the CUSHNIE Fall 2019 collection which was inspired by Paul Poiret’s 1920’s Japanese-inspired silhouettes and Ikebana and Nicola Kloosterman’s Shadowplay collage series. The musician, H.E.R., wore the original runway sample in 2022.
