Salmon dialed Patek Philippe watches hold a special place in the heart of collectors. Traditionally they have been offered only on special occasions, such as the white gold Salmon dialed Ref 5070G-014 made in an addition of 5 and known as the ‘London Edition’ or, for special private commissions such as those made especially for the likes of Mr. Michael Ovitz, and Eric Clapton OBE who commissioned a salmon dialed Ref 3970 and 5004. Introduced in 2018, the 5270P-001 received much collector acclaim for its combination of salmon colored dial and Arabic (not Breguet) numerals. The contrast between salmon pink and stark platinum added to the luxurious feel of the watch.
