Audemars Piguet debuted a line of very limited and rare grand complication wristwatches in the early 2000s. For an Audemars Piguet watch to receive the moniker ‘Grand Complication’ it must contain at least 3 of horology’s most difficult complications. In this instance, this combination of complications are housed in the iconic Gerald Genta designed Royal Oak case. Powered by the firm's incredible in-house caliber 2885 that is composed of 648 individual parts, this timepiece features a split-second chronograph, perpetual calendar and minute repeater along with moon phases and leap year indication to a striking blue dial.
The current grand complication is cased in white gold and is mounted on full white gold bracelet. The vivid blue ‘Yves Klein’ style dial contrast spectacularly with the brushed white gold bezel.
