This vase model, which Émile Gallé calls Angélique, Grande berce or Heracleum in his notes, has been subject to different variations with different colors, decorations and quotations.
One example appeared in the Repos dans la solitude showcase at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris. Two examples are now in museums: one in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Berlin, the other in the Musée de l'École de Nancy. A third example was sold by Sotheby's in New York on June 11, 1992.
