When a collector thinks of Rolex, the first thought is usually one of their iconic sports models; however, the brand has a long and storied history with creating beautiful dress watches. Introduced in 1968, the Cellini was named after the famous Renaissance period Florentine goldsmith and artist Benevnuto Cellini. These watches, which vary in shape, size, material and complication, all embody a more classy and sophisticated look. Over the years the model line has evolved in design. Starting in 2014, the brand released a new series to the Cellini family with the Cellini Time, Cellini Date, and the Cellini Dual Time. In 2017, the Cellini Moonphase was released as the newest installment of the family. With this release, Rolex has standardized the model line by having them all feature a round 39 millimeter case. Each version is offered in both white or rose gold and comes on a leather strap with its matching buckle.
