A Japanese Export Three Piece Silver Tea Set and Silver and Rosewood Two-Handled Tray, Early 20th Century

Comprising teapot, covered sugar bowl and creamer, the teapot embossed and chased in high relief with a dragon which encircles the pot and continues to form the spout with well-modelled dragon-head, the creamer and sugar embossed to match, three-dimensional dragon handles, marked on bases in Japanese, translated Konoike Zo and Jungin(pure silver); matching tray embossed with two elongated dragons whose tails form the handles, all on spot-hammered grounds, the tray unmarked
