This painting is sold with accompanying gallery documentation that directly quotes the Warlayarti Artists certificate stating that the artwork depicts the "artist's home country birth place and dreaming. He is the guardian of this and many other sites around Kirrikarlu which is a lake south of Yagga Yagga, approximately 130km from Balgo Hills, Western Australia. This site was made by the Tingari (the incestral Kwoll) in the Dreaming. Here the Tingari slept leaving impressions in the ground that now form the lakes. The 'living water' soak is a 'hard water time' (drought) source of fresh water. The 'living water' soak is represented by the circle in the centre of the painting. The lines of separation between the four parts of this painting depict the path of the Tingari in the Dreaming."
