4to (242 x 190 mm, uncut). Printed on Dutch handmade paper, half-title, number 51 of 100 numbered copies, signed by Joyce below the limitation statement, with 8-page unopened errata slip loosely inserted; half-title browned at edges from the turned-in wrapper, light creasing and foxing to errata slip, occasional spots but overall a fresh, bright copy. Publisher's blue wrappers, upper cover lettered in white; lacking the spine panel, and with the first and last quires re-sewn into the binding, with white stitching running along the hinges, original wrapper rubbed and chipped where meeting the spine, one short closed tear to the front cover's bottom edge. [With]: "Extracts from Press Notices of Ulysses by James Joyce" [drop title], 4 pages on 1 leaf (240 x 165 mm); lightly foxed, one stray stain to first page. [And]: Shakespeare and Company prospectus for Ulysses, 4 pages on 1 leaf (215 x 165 mm), with woodcut vignette of Shakespeare, photographic portrait of Joyce tipped in, folded edge perforated so as to separate the order form; old horizontal fold, very small closed marginal tear at the fold, diagonal crease, affecting a corner of the portrait.
