Murant is a somewhat nebulous figure as a draughtsman, to whom hardly any drawings can be attributed with certainty, but this high quality sheet is certainly consistent with his paintings in terms of subject matter.  Stylistically, there are also echoes of the drawings of Cornelis Saftleven.
