Elikem Logan

Elikem Logan started at Sotheby’s in 2022. He is an Art Historian primarily concerned with West African Modernism and art praxis in the early postcolonial period. Born and raised in Ghana, his research interests span the breadth of African Modern and Contemporary epochs. Most recently, his written work has centred on the historicisation of contemporary art in Africa. He holds an MA in Art History and Management and an MLitt in Legal and Constitutional Studies from the University of St Andrews, as well as an MSc in African Studies from Oxford University.
