seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne further raised on a hexagonal pedestal base, the left hand raised in vitarkamudra, the face framed by a pierced diadem centered by Amitabha and the body draped in symmetrical robes with floral borders

There are losses to the front flame of the diadem, the tip of the topknot, both forefingers (the right forefinger has been re-stuck), the tips of the tresses, one flower of on the lotus throne, and part of the sash, in addition to scattered nicks particularly at the edges. There are a few visible small rectangular patches (from the time of manufacture). The lotus throne has been secured to the pedestal by a coiled copper wire. There is wear to the gilding, as illustrated.
