The jadeite bangle is of excellent thickness, highly translucent, with vivid emerald green colour. Under strong illumination there are white cloud inclusions and few black spots, commonly seen in natural jadeite, but not easily seen when worn. 數百年來，翡翠在中華大地都是地位和財富的象徵，在傳統的翡翠珠寶中又以手鐲和珠鏈子最為難得，其中一個主要原因是這兩種切割原石的方法非常耗料，而碩大的原石絕不易求。手鐲由一整塊原石而出，當中一定不能有明顯的綹裂和瑕疵，造出來的手鐲才夠堅實耐用。手鐲的大小、形狀、顏色的分佈全部都取決於原石的質素。

質素上乘的翡翠的形成需要十分苛刻的條件，而緬甸正好提供了低溫高壓的環境，成為了翡翠的主要產地。可是由於產量不多，而且大部份都顏色太淡，色澤不均，或者內含物較多，一般都不能切割出上好的翡翠飾品。當難得碰上顏色濃且正，晶體結構細密，水頭充足的原料，又不一定會用來切割成手鐲，因為風險太大，怕一下子浪費掉難得的好石頭。

眼前這枚手鐲就是在此等限制之下打造成的天然瑰寶。手鐲的條子和大小均勻，綠色滿滿一圈，色澤濃郁深邃，最為難得的是它質地細膩，水頭極好，具有玻璃般的晶潤亮澤，嬌豔欲滴，所以佩戴起來綠光煥發，美得令人一見難忘。

頂級的翡翠手鐲實在是極為罕有，就算在國際拍賣場上也屬稀客。蘇富比有幸於2014年的春拍上呈獻一枚絕色翡翠貴妃鐲，最後以高價4380萬港元成交。是次拍賣很高興能再為一眾翡翠藏家帶來眼前這枚珍貴翡翠手鐲，相信定必再一次在拍場上引起哄動。
