Designed by Rotterdam-based architecture studio MVRDV, the Maison opened in July 2024.
As the flagship of Sotheby’s in Asia, this two-storey, 24,000 square foot multifaceted space offers a portal to a world of boundless inspiration and discovery – a journey from pre-history to present day, across more than 20 categories spanning all continents and artistic endeavours.

Situated at LANDMARK CHATER, the podium of Chater House, the Maison welcomes 1.3 million monthly visitors, boasting high accessibility through its multi-footbridge integration to the iconic LANDMARK complex.
While the ground floor houses a dramatic state-of-the-art space boasting a six-metre high ceiling designed for immersive experiences, the first floor features our concept store, a uniquely curated retail experience exploring an array of cross-category art, luxury and collectibles spanning pre-history to present day – all offered for instant purchase.

Sotheby’s Maison is situated within the LANDMARK complex in Central, the very heart of the city. Located at the corners of Connaught Road, Pedder Street and the historic Chater Road, the Maison can be easily reached by MTR (Central station Exit E), bus or taxi and is a short 5-minute walk from Central ferry pier. For those driving, LANDMARK offers ample parking and a valet service.
