Catalogue Note

The prestigious British jewellery and watches retailer, Boodle & Dunthorne was founded in 1798 and celebrated their 200th anniversary in 1998.
For this special event, they commissioned a very limited edition of twenty wristwatches from Patek Philippe.
The classic stepped platinum case houses a perpetual calendar movement and a black dial. The snap-on case back is decorated with an engraving commemorating the anniversary. It also bears the limited edition number, the present lot being number 18. The piece is extremely elegant yet understated.  The present timepiece is offered on behalf of the original and only owner, who has kept it for twenty years in outstanding condition. It comes as a complete set with the original Patek Philippe watch winder, Certificate of Origin, booklets, and even the original sealed setting pin.
This lot represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most collectible modern Patek Philippe perpetual calendars.
