DIAMOND AND OPAL DEMI-PARURE, 'PIG' FROM THE ANIMAL WORLD COLLECTION, CHOPARD

The detachable pendant designed as a pig pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds of pink tint, supporting four briolette diamonds, the eyes highlighted with cabochon tourmalines, on a row of pink opal beads measuring from approximately 14.95 to 7.55mm, decorated with swirl motifs set with brilliant-cut diamonds of pink tint, length approximately 940mm, and a pair of earrings, collapsible post and hinged back fittings, sautoir and pendant signed Chopard, pair of earrings and pendant numbered, accompanied by a pouch, fitted case and box stamped Chopard, and the Animal World book by Chopard.

Please note that the diamonds of pink tint have not been tested for natural colour. Accompanied by a copy of the original invoice from Chopard. The pendant and sautoir signed Chopard, pendant and pair of earrings numbered 817735 3223866, each piece stamped 750 for 18 carat rose gold. Diamonds of pink tint stated to weigh a total of approximately 26.26 carats, and near-colourless diamonds stated to weigh a total of approximately 5.83 carats, on average K-L colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Pink opals stated to weigh a total of approximately 588.49 carats, well matched in colour, in overall good condition. Orange tourmaline with small chips and minor scratches. Evidence of wear to the metal consistent with use. Clasp secure. Overall, in very good condition. Total gross weight 184 grams. Accompanied by a pouch, fitted case and box stamped Chopard, and the Animal World book by Chopard.

The Animal World collection was created by Caroline Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard for the jewellery house's 150^th anniversary in 2010. Depicting over 150 animals from all around the world, both wild and tame, using a combination of colourful gemstones to represent the entire animal kingdom at its best.
