Description

  • 78.1cm. 
the curved steel blade with flat back edge and gold-overlaid inscription within fuller on edge to both sides, the hilt with a curved pommel and quillons set with a turquoise plaque featuring gilt inscription, set with ribbed drop-shaped coral beads and smaller, round turquoise beads, the scabbard decorated en-suite, with two suspension loops, the reverse with repoussé floral motifs, in a modern Asprey & Co. case

Condition

The blade with oxidisation and some erosion, some rubbing to the inscription, old repair to hilt with some stones missing and other replaced. The scabbard with some rubbing, dirt and oxidisation, some coral and turquoise beeds have been replaced or are missing, as viewed.
