Description

detailed with gilding, the under body decorated with iron-red, the cover surmounted by a gilded iron-red fish forming the handle

Condition

The tureen and cover are in general good condition with the exception of expected wear including surface scratches, rubbing of gilding and enamel in some areas, and some minor retouching to the enamels. There are minor kiln imperfections such as burst bubbles and iron spots in various areas. The base is inscribed with white and black paint.
