of pellet form, the surface enamelled in translucent red over wavy engine-turning, the rim mount set with seed pearls above ribbon-tied laurel swags hung from rose-cut diamonds, diamond finial, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 8712

Condition

The enamel with some light surface scratches; two seed pearls and the stopper are lacking; the hinge slightly loose.
