Condition
There is old, historic damage to the disc at the top of the vessel and running down into the neck area. This has been restored and this restoration is visible to the naked eye as well as under ultraviolet light, although due to the nature of the artist's glazes a clear reading under ultraviolet light is difficult. This restoration is not immediately noticeable upon first hand inspection, and does not appear to extend into the body of the work. Inspected under ultraviolet light. Please contact the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
