Description
Set with a rectangular step-cut emerald weighing 6.16 carats, to baguette diamond shoulders, size O, case stamped Cartier.
Condition
Accompanied by GCS report no. 78166-36, stating that the emerald is natural, origin opinion Colombia, with moderate amount of oil in fissures. Measuring approximately 11.84 x 9.73 x 6.98mm. Accompanied by a valuation for insurance by Cartier, dated 1st April 1963. Unsigned. Emerald deep green, transparent, typical inclusions eye visible, some surface reaching, fractures and chips. General wear such as scratches to surfaces and rubbed facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively. Light scratches to metal surfaces. Mount has been resized. Gross weight approximately 5.2 grams. General wear to emerald. Overall in good condition. Accompanied by case stamped Cartier.
