Ex-collection Mnavzagan Pridonoff (d.1937), Tiblisi and Paris.
These tiles are named on the inventory of the previous owner’s mother on her wedding contract dated 28 July 1944 (first work to be itemised).
Rediscovered by the previous owner in his mother’s home, France, 1973.

Condition
Square floral tile: Abrasions, sections missing with some associated restoration.
Two triangular panels:The smaller with breaks to two extremities, one of which shows the iron rod of interior, both slightly arched bases, some minor replacement tiles, some missing. As viewed.
