the rock crystal carved with scrolling strapwork enclosing grotesque masks and dolphin heads, the stem formed as the bird's legs supported by a tree stump, the cover carved with raised bird head, spread wings and plumed tail feathers, the silver-gilt borders applied with linked enamel cartouches centered by cabochon emeralds and table-cut rubies spaced with pearls set in ribbon bows, the matching bird’s collar with baroque pearl pendant

missing two cartouches- one over the hinge for the bird's collar, the other on the band above the legs. Minor enamel loss throughout, otherwise good
