Description

each of baluster form, brightly painted in famille-rose enamels with birds amongst flowering peony in a fenced garden, all between ruyi-shaped bands enclosing stylised flowers, the neck with floral scroll bands above a keyfret band, on later giltwood stands

Condition

One vase is warped and broken into numerous pieces from around half way up and restuck with extensive restoration and overpainting The other vase in good general condition. One cover with a shallow rim chip. Both vases and covers with general enamel wear, surface scratches and minor firing imperfections including iron spots, burst glaze bubbles.
